Writing a Great Swarm

A big part of being in the Swarm community is contributing to the forum, where founders and builders discuss their craft, rituals, tools, goals, and everything in between.
The best way to start contributing is to ask a really great question (in the form of posting a swarm) that encourages our community to respond to you!
Writing a great swarm means that you can:
- Get deeper, higher-quality answers.
- Reach the right respondents.
- Invite more people in conversation.
- Make genuine connections.
- Attract peers, clients, and mentors.
- Get pollen for excellent responses!
Here are some guidelines on how you can do exactly that:
1. Ask just one question
Keep your Swarm title short and sweet. More importantly, make it specific.
Swarmies are more more likely to respond if they immediately get what you’re asking for.
2. Provide personal context
Why are you asking this? What’s your story?
Showing vulnerability will help fellow Swarmies share their stories too.
3. Follow up!
Posting the swarm is like sending out a letter to each Swarmie.
Make sure to respond when they write back!
